Feeling hopeful

I am writing an essay on nations' struggle to implement energy efficiency measures to combat climate change. You don't care about my essay, do you? I barely care about my essay.

However, people are doing something. The EU, specifically Germany - obviously, is doing some really impressive things! Governments are mitigating, individuals are trying to change their lives! With all the terrible news about how many species will go extinct or however millions of people will lose their homes if we let the carbon dioxide (or equivalent) get over 450 parts per million, a little hope goes a long way for me.

Especially today, as the United States elects someone new. But at this moment, I believe in hope and in change. Yes, we can.
