Things have taken a downward turn...

So, I have fleas.

Not really.

But my mattress does.

And has for years. Which explains why every summer I complain of bugs eating me alive and my mom pretends to nod sympathetically and then I wash my sheets and the problem goes away for a week and then the bites come back...

I'm very itchy.

  1. Fleas to replace to matress, if you fleas.

(Thank goodness I make myself laugh)

Oh, and PS: It's ok. Just fumigate the ever-living jeebus out of your matress. Only if you're ok with smelling like brisket. Or mesquite.

I don't know what I'm talking about anymore.

  2. You make me laugh too, Burn. Yeah, fumigation starts tomorrow. its just flea bites itch - for ever. woe is me!

  3. Ahhh! I'm so sorry. I find it creepy the way they wait - when we lived in an apartment both our neighbors and ourselves were gone for two weeks and when we came back the fleas came out in force (the eggs hatching was activated by movement, so we were told, and instead of hatching a little at a time like when we were home they all waited to hatch at once). It was amazing.

Hope you can get them killed off fast!
