Grievances...ok, fine. I'm just cranky.

Desert Island Top Five Reasons to Be Cranky on September 5, 2009:

1. I have stupid homework assignments. The thing is when someone tells you the first day of class "you're not going to learn anything new here, it's all common sense" I lose motivation to do the work. Call me crazy.

2. I have been exceptionally tired, lately. So tired, in fact, that I can't even fathom getting out of bed. I can only hope this is a result of the sickness and soon I'll be back to my bubbly self.

3. I miss Mr. Slurpee. I miss kissing him. I miss receiving ridiculous text messages about pencils and weetbix.

3. I have a pile of laundry that is verging on turning into one of those Calvin and Hobbes monsters and may or may not eat me in my sleep.

4. They do not show enough US Open Tennis on tv here. By "not enough" I mean pretty much none. And I am having a hard time dealing with it. I love you, James Blake. Clijsters, you rock my world. Fernando "da-amn-you-have-hot-hair!" Verdasco, you my friend, you have a smokin' hot head of hair. But I can't enjoy you, all of you, because apparently no one cares for you here. I care.

5. Let's face it. I am just cranky. CRANKY. Also my dad got an Iphone right - because he is cool. And thus he gave me his Itouch, so I went out to buy a cover for it, because I like to take care of my technology, and I bought the wrong case - and and and it was on sale. and and and they won't take it back. AND WOE IS ME. Be cool be cool, icecold.


  1. Concerning Grievance #4...Is certainly understandable. Hey our good friend Kim Clijsters is 6-0 1-0 as I write this...I don't see any of your favorite Hotties playing at this moment in time today. I'm sorry you're not able to get the coverage down under of our famous US OPEN...the rest of your grievances you will overcome...#;-)

  2. I think it is cranky week. As I was saying to my mother sometimes you must have to be blah. Then one day you snap out of it. I think that is why I've been MIA.

    I'm all for grievances, it's like Festivus, you have to have the Airing of Grievances!

    Megs - Yes, there are days where being cranky is the only way.

    Becky - grumpy pants, there is something strangely comforting about them isn't there? It's EXACTLY like festivus.

  5. It's number 3 - that's what's doing it. You need a big hug(which I'm sending you now), a good cry and then a good blow of the nose so that you can get on.
