I've fallen in love and there were no special effects, but there was a penis joke...awkward!

Inspector Climate this may be hard for you to read...because this post isn't about you

A couple of days ago my mom sent me a package. And after removing the gluten free yummies and other miscellaneous items I pulled out three CDs. They were labelled "The Swell Season 1-16" "The Swell Season 17-25" and "The Swell Season 25 - 30." I had no idea what that meant. Is that a tv show? Is that music?

So, I did what any sane person would do - GOOGLE. As it turns out The Swell Season is a group formed by the Oscar winners Glen and Marketa for their work in Once which if you haven't seen this movie and loved it, I am not sure we can be friends. That's a lie. We can be friends, just not great friends.

ANYWAY, while googling The Swell Season, (who are amazing by the way, very talented funny Glen reminds me of my friend Will except Irish. Obviously). I found this youtube video.

Who knew I found penis jokes funny (ok, I had a hunch...I do love Judd Apatow)? Is it just because he mentioned my favourite TV show? Oh Freaks and Geeks how I miss you. The truth is, and I'm sorry to have to admit this, I totally love Jason Segel. Marry me, Jason?

  1. haha, hadn't heard of them either, very funny! And obviously talented too. BTW Thanks for visiting the bar at mine...

  2. Having some difficulties with your video link, I'll keep trying.
Penis - a word I'm keen to forget at the moment. Googling the saying 'The Pen is mightier than the sword', I forgot my spacing and entered 'The penis mightier than the sword' You wouldn't believe the sites that came up.

  3. Once is such a great movie! Had to own the CD, DVD, etc. One review I read said it is the best movie ever about almost falling in love. Sigh.

  4. The Sagittarian - Oh, they're awesome. I definitely recommend them!

Petty Witter - Oh, goodness. Yeah, well I'd certainly be traumatised by that, don't worry the link has NOTHING to do with anything that naughty.

Susan - ISN'T IT? Haha - I never really saw it as a love story. Perhaps, a wise tale of what can happen if you don't just hook up with people?
