Suck it up, be a man, rub some dirt in it!

Yesterday at 1:28 pm, I handed in my final essay. As it slid through the submission slot (that's what she said? Sometimes it's so hard to tell, I wish she would enunciate better.), I just stood there in the old commerce building waiting for the relief to find me. Like it was a some kind of glittery cloud (like in The Incredible Shrinking Man) and it just hadn't found me yet. But, oh, when it did I would be covered in sparkly delightful relief. I waited. After a minute went by, I turned to walk to away. And tears flooded my vision. I was all "MAN UP, D, this isn't the time." And so I got on the train and went to visit Jess. We watched the worst best movie ever, She's the Man. God, that movie is GOLD.

But seriously, I am just a wee bit scared.

The post title is my favorite quote from that awesomely bad movie, followed by: "Girls with asses like mine do not talk to boys with faces like yours."

HAHA I clicked onto this post through BlogHer purely because of the title - and it's YOU!!! I LOVE She's The Man, one of my fave movies. So ridiculously hilarious. Amanda Bynes is comic genius.
