Oh what weekend

Inspector Climate and I went away for the weekend, we went to Walhalla. Lovely. We did a lot of things like we rode a train.

We saw what can only be described as an alien building in the middle of Thomson Dam. (um, notice how LOW the dam is? So, sad).

We attempted (Thrice!) to take a picture of our selves in front of said alien building...

The first time I had flies buzzing around my face and thus this happened:

Awkward...the second time, Inspector Climate had flies buzzing around his mouth and this happened:

The third time, we kind of got it. You know - minus the part where you can see the alien building that we cannot conceive of a purpose for.

When I think back on this weekend, I'll certainly remember the tour of the gold mine. The walk up to the cricket ground. Watching When Harry Met Sally for the first with Inspector Climate. But right now all I can think about is the disgusting mouth ulcer I apparently have. It hurts. It's gross. Did I mention it hurts? I think it's going away, but it doesn't stop me whining about it all the time. You know how I really know that Inspector adores me? It's not because he took me away for Valentine's Day - although that was sweet. And not because he'll allow me to post these ridiculous photos of us both on my blog (Hi, Inspector Climate). No, it's because he kissed me even after he saw how incredibly vile my mouth ulcer is. And he even listened to me whine about it FOR HOURS. It hurts, yo.

I am going to gargle some salt water, how are you?

  4. It does look rather nice.

Steam trains, dams and cute couple shots - you'll remember them long after the ulcer's history. :)

  6. I'm behind! Damnit. You two look adorable [love your hair, as usual]. I'm so glad you had a lovely Valentine's Day with your fella. A boy who kisses you even though you have a mouth ulcer [shiver] is definitely a keeper. :-)

  7. Becky - Thank you! He is pretty amazing...

Selina - he is soooo cute. I agree!

Ev Rev - It was so-oh beautiful. Absolutely lovely.

Matthew - I hope so...cause it huuuurts ahem.

Jessica - the train was awesome (albeit over priced...ahem). I call him Inspector Climate because he is a climatologist and his family nickname when he was a wee thing was Inspector Gadget. :)

Chris - Thank you! I know right - mega gross. He's a sweetie.
