If I were lacking motivation, I'd do a meme...

I took this meme from Jessica.

If I were a month, I’d be October.

If I were a day of the week, I’d be Thursday.

If I were a time of day, I’d be 6 am.

If I were a planet, I’d be one with long days and cool breezes, warm rain and big storms, and lots of green.

If I were a sea animal, I’d be a penguin - as if you even had to ask.

If I were a direction, I’d be over there.

If I were a piece of furniture, I’d be The Bear - a giant (huge) stuffed teddy bear that my grandparents gave my brother for his birthday. I've grown up lying on it to watch tv and snuggling in its ears when I've been sick.

If I were a liquid, I’d be a tears.

If I were a gemstone, I’d be a amber.

If I were a tree, I’d be a Maple Tree.

If I were a tool, I’d be a shovel.

If I were a flower, I’d be a Johnny Jump Up.

If I were a kind of weather, I would be fog.

If I were a musical instrument, I’d be an acoustic guitar.

If I were a color, I’d be burnt orange.

If I were an emotion, I’d be hysterical giggles.

If I were a fruit, I’d be a peach.

If I were a sound, I’d be a baby laughing.

If I were an element, I’d be water.

If I were a car, I’d be a horse (eh?).

If I were a food, I’d be tomatoes from an organic garden.

If I were a place, I’d be right here.
If I were a material, I’d be that super soft cotton much like my favourite Inspector Climate shirt.
If I were a taste, I’d be rich gooey caramel.
If I were a scent, I’d be Vanilla - boring, but true.

If I were an object, I’d be an heirloom.
If I were a body part, I’d be a belly button (I'm very linty).
If I were a facial expression, I’d be smile lines around the mouth.
If I were a song, I’d be Life is a Carnival (The Band - which I always sing, in the car, as life is a carnivore...).
If I were a pair of shoes, I’d be chacos.

  1. Congratulations on one of the least boring memes I've ever read. I was actually excited to see what creative answer you'd come up with on each next question!

  2. Vanilla is the LEAST boring element on Earth. You can add ANYTHING to it and create an entirely new scent, flavor, etc.
Thursday rocks, and Amber is sublime.

... I took the meme from someone else, as I too was feeling rather unmotivated.

    Whatever works eh? ;)

  3. I don't have a rabid hatred of memes like some people - all I ask is that they're interesting. Nice work on this one. :)

  4. If I were a month I'd be December. Love it! The suns out, it's beach time and everyone is getting ready for Christmas time. It's just such a happy time!

  5. One of the more creative and interesting memes I've read in a while. I need to Google "Johnny Jump Up", kitten. Not sure what that is, but I'm certain it's pretty. :-)

  13. I was thinking "Johnny Jump Up, what is that? I've never heard of them". Good old google and from the photos I'm guessing they are what we call pansys. I used to always think they looked like a lions face when you looked at them... I can still see it but so can't explain it!
