Let me tell you a story about a paraplegic tennis playing bunny...

For Easter, Inspector Climate gave me a giant chocolate tennis playing bunny (picture below). Moments after getting the gift, I left my Easter bag of chocolate on a log while we were camping and it toppled over and my Tennis Playing Easter Bunny became the Paraplegic Tennis Playing Easter Bunny (PTPEB). I felt horrible.

Now, I am holding the remains of my Easter loot. I repeat the REMAINS, there was much much more (does the Climate family spoil me? Yes, yes they do). Yes, that is a wombat...why do you ask? This is what will happen, I am going to save that Easter chocolate until some day in the future when life gets hard to handle. And then I will devour a chocolate bunny or two.

How's your Easter stash? Gone? Hidden in a drawer some where?

  1. Still have it! (I'm not much of a candy person.) It will probably last until sometime around June, I predict.

  3. No stash because there were no bunny deliveries to my house this year. I know so sad.

  4. My easter loot came in the form of a gift certificate to my favorite running store and was promptly spent on 13 dollar socks and a fuel belt. I bought some Mini eggs for the apartment but my roommates and I promptly devoured them.

  5. I cannot save chocolate at all - I've eaten everything!! I had 4 yummy eggs made from raw chocolate http://www.rawrchoc.com/ and then my favourite cadbury cream eggs sent over by my British Boy from the UK... and then lots french easter eggs that have been in uni PhD offices. MMM!

  6. My Easter stash was pathetically small and was gone within a week.

  7. Diary of Why - I'm kind of like that too - I never think to buy candy or anything, but then sometimes, I binge eat candy - so it's hard to say!

Chris - Well, you have three kids, is easter hard when oldest and middle boy are diabetics (or verging on)?

linlah - Aw, that is very sad!

Megs - As a kid, I didn't used to get much chocolate, I got a lot of books, but The Climates are big on chocolate.

    Kiwi in France - Yum!

Matthew - Seriously, you know what are hard to find though, chocolate ducks.

  8. Instead of Easter Candy, I was gifted with Australian candy...and that's pretty much all gone already.

I'm impressed with people who can save candy for long periods.

  11. I got both chocolate and books for Easter. My mom in general goes way way way over board when it comes to Easter. I have a nephew and lots of little cousins that are now spoiled, but this is the first year I've been sans chocolate.
