Hello My Pretties...It's that time of year again.

Wow, it's been a week since I posted - let me tell you a lot has happened in that week. Well, I guess that's kind of relative term 'a lot.' And I'll dole out that 'a lot' over the next few days because do you know what time of the year it is?

So, this will be the fourth year that I've participated in NaBloPoMo, in other words get ready for words. Lots of words. Maybe.

Are you doing NaBloPoMo? Do you hate those of us who do - filling your inbox with inane drivel?

I think in the past I've participated because I saw it as a way to connect with other bloggers and possibly get more readers without doing much more that posting a few extra times per week.

But this year, I really want to do it because I feel like I've lost all any blogging mojo I once had. I want to reconnect with my inner decoybetty and just have some time to write.

I've had a year that has had incredible highs (Hello Inspector Climate) and some ferocious lows (Hello Terrible Job...Hello allergy to Birth Control - kisses!) and I desperately feel the need to reconnect to those things that make me happy. And this little blog (and you! Especially you!) make me very happy.

Happy November, bitches.

  1. If you can write it, I can stand it.
PS: Congratulations on your impending unemployment, darling.

  2. I'm doing NaBloPoMo again this year too (my second time). I've been posting daily on my blog for a few weeks now to try to jolly myself out of the doldrums and I thought I might as well just keep going through November (since I'm still not out of the doldrums).

I've had a year like that too - wonderful and awful all at once.

  3. I wish I had the courage to attempt NaBloPoMo but honestly I have failed every year!!! LOL I do concur, however, that blogging (and reading blogs) makes me so happy. So maybe I will try just write as much as I can or something?

Anyway, look forward to reading you.

  4. Twisted Susan - Thank you Susan!

Frisky Librarian - Great, I'll be checking out your blog then (gleeful?)

Ev Rev - Aw, I think that it's a good idea to try and post a lot - set your own goal for NaBloPoMO.

  5. Hooray for 30 days of blogging! It's sure to bring your mojo back -- or banish it forever? Let's hope for the former. :-P

  6. Just dropping by to say that I've FINALLY been to the post office, so keep your eye out.

I'll also be NaBloPoMo-ing along with you - yay team :-)

  7. And here I signed up for NaNoWriMo; which I won't actually accomplish either.
I need to get back on that horse too - now if only that tramp of a designer would finish my blogs so i could actually USE them.
