The no-custard icecream recipe....

Ok, so this is a bit of a blogger fail moment. I was going to have pictures and an awesome story to go with this recipe.

But instead I have no pictures because after an afternoon of volunteering I was meeting Inspector Climate and I missed the train and so I didn't start making dinner until like 6:30 and I was starving because I eat lunch at 11 and I was getting cranky. And we didn't have any cinnamon which in case you didn't know is a key ingredient in how to make cinnamon ice cream. So instead we made:

Don't Call Me Honey, Honey Ice Cream*.

You'll need.

1 400ish g can of sweetened condensed milk
2 cups of cream
1 cup of milk
1 t vanilla
1.5 T of honey (or to taste).

Put in blender. Blend.

put in ice cream maker until ice cream is made. May need to put in freezer for 20-30 minutes before serving to make sure it's really frozen.

Serve.

congratulate yourself on the fact that you can make ice cream.

If you want to make Ben and Jerry Style flavours. Add one cup of your favourite mix in. I'd recommend heath bar crunch or chocolate chips or any number of things.

Most of all, ENJOY.

* Ice cream named in part due to Ben and Jerry and their ridiculous names for ice creams and also because I don't like pet names. Clearly.

  4. I like the final direction! I used to make ice cream when I was a little girl. It's not too hard but you have to eat it fast!
