Bits and bobs or odds and ends, whatever this post is all over the place...

First of all, I know you've all been biting your nails and pulling your hair out with worry over the state of my lady bits and my lack of gynaecologist visiting and pap smearing. But yesterday, I idly chatted about how tough the job market is right now while my gyno used the speculum (holy scary speculum). And if that wasn't awkward enough she was even like "...um what's this thing" and pointed to a red angry lump on my bum which happens to be another Alaska sized bug bite on my ass. What a good moment...

So stop your nail biting. Put down the stress ball. We're all going to be ok.

Also, I've been getting around the blogosphere lately (which if you recall is part of my life list). I participated in World Nutella Day, I am beginning operation Anonymous Blog Swap, and I became a big sister.

I recently sent my little sister a little care package that contained these.

AND, I also made a pair but have not mailed them because I am a slacker to my bestest real life friend who just started a blog. So Anne, expect some fingerless gloves in the mail...sometime.

What's new with you, my bitches?

  1. I refuse to try Nutella on the grounds that I'm sure I'll be absolutely wild for it.

  2. Good for you for going. It has to be done. I'm a fine one to talk though as I have just cancelled my follow up hospital appointment from all that scary stuff back in September. But quite frankly, my fanny has only just got back to normal and I don't fancy them poking around down there again when I can instead spend a fun and boozy day with the girls .....

Nothing new over here...it's cold, grey and rainy in Paris and I could use a holiday somewhere warm! (soon enough...)

  8. I was definitely concerned about your lady bits. Thanks for the peace of mind.

And I'm with everyone else who digs those gloves, they look pretty awesome. Why don't you sell that stuff?

  9. tee hee! glad to hear you're taking care of yourself and all your lady bits. also, the bugs in australia are a pretty big fear of mine. i'm sure most americans don't think much about it, but the mister's family is from there and we'll probably move there at some point in the future. yikes!

    Diana - Aw, thank you!

    Teacher Girl - Thanks!

Cole - they were super easy!

Eric - I never thought anyone would buy them?

Kim - Squee, yay!!! you'll move to Australia some day :) I wouldn't worry too much about the bugs, I think my body is a just a bit temperamental at the moment. I've never seen anything poisonous in Melbourne.
