NaBloPoMo day 21: Ten on Last Tuesday

I was looking for some blog inspiration tonight and found these Ten on Tuesday Questions on My Life in a Nutshell and promptly decided to join in, only a week late!

Apparently last week’s questions were provided by Lauren From Texas, and are hosted over at Roots and Rings.

1. What are your pantry staples?
Rice, pasta, gluten free flour, quinoa, sesame seeds

2. What are your refrigerator staples?
Butter, cheddar cheese, yogurt, and salad makings.

3. You already look like Heidi Klum (or your favorite supermodel). Now, what are the top three non-physical things you would change about yourself?
I'd worry less, dream bigger, and use my good looks to convince a scientist to get working on teleportation.

4. What’s holding you back from your dream job? (If you already have your dream job, how did you get there?)
oh, so many things. What is my dream job? I'm not sure. That's probably the biggest factor.

5. You have $500 to spend but it has to be on one item only. Go.
Probably a yoga pass for several months.

6. What is something that you are embarrassed to admit you buy on a regular basis?
I cannot think of a single thing.  When I was a teenager I used to get super embarrassed whenever I had to go to the grocery store because my dad would want me to buy pounds (literally POUNDS) of carrots for our horses.

7. What’s in/on your bed every night?
When i didn't live with Inspector Climate, my bed was my desk. So, my computer some note books, probably a pen.  Now, Inspector Climate, a sheet, two pillows, a comforter, a blanket.

8. What is a non-necessity item that, no matter how expensive it gets or how tight your budget if, you will always find room for it?

9. What is the weirdest sandwich you’ve ever made?
Well, I don't think I've ever really done the weird sandwich thing, but I do love slabs of butter with nutritional yeast on my toast. Holy Mother of Moses - it's good stuff.

  10. Would you rather: Be banned from Pinterest forever, but gain a million captive Twitter followers; or, never get on Facebook again but gain five thousand blog readers?
I'm already not on facebook so definitely the second one!

  1. Haha. This is awesome. And duh...on the Heidi Klum part.

  2. Haha avocados. Love it.

I WISH my dad had sent me to buy pounds of carrots for horses when I was a kid! (it would have meant I had horses...)

  3. Lol...pounds of carrots! That would be embarassing, although they probably got used to it after awhile no?

  4. Definitely with you on the avocado thing! Also your pumpkin pie ice cream recipe looks amazing!!! I have been obsessed with pumpkin in sweet things ever since I lived in America for a few years; but whenever I introduce my friends to pumpkin pie they think I'm crazy!

  5. Avocados! I would have never guessed that.

  6. Alexa - Right? I don't think people are taking Teleportation seriously enough.

Crystal - Hah, yes I should be grateful for the horses!

Nikki - I don't think the cashiers cared at all, but it always embarrassed me.

Many colours of Happiness - Love avocados. And I am so glad to hear that there is an Australian who embraces pumpkin pie!

Teacher girl - they're just so delicious.

  7. Oh, if ONLY I could worry less!

It's so unproductive that I start to worry about the worrying, which is even more unproductive!
