Secondly, I'm linking up with Lauren today for some Fill in the Blank awesomeness.
1. The highlight of my week was Having a friend I haven't seen in a long time come over for dinner!
2. If I had to classify my interior design aesthetic it would be Rustic New England farm house.
3. My first vehicle was a 1999 Toyota four runner, that I named Oliver.
4. An item I need to have in my day in order to function is floss. Seriously, my gums do not enjoy it when I don't floss (twice! Daily!).
5. My favorite way to waste time is commenting on your blogs...your welcome.
6. Right now I could really go for coconut milk, in a curry, with Thai flavourings...
7. This weekend I will be Soaking up every last second of solitude to recharge my introverted self for the beginning of next week.

Burnt orange ballet flats. That's the most specific request I've heard in a long time. I really want the universe to fill that order for you!
ReplyDeleteWhen you do find these orange shoes, please let us know where from!!
ReplyDeleteI'd love a pair as well!
( Though I'm currently on the hunt for glass slippers to wear to my wedding.. I feel we
ll have more like with the orange flats!)
Hmm burnt orange - I can't really picture the colour. Could you provide some colour swatches for our consideration? :)
ReplyDeleteI'd say type in "burnt orange ballet flats" into Google images, and when a pic comes up that you like, try to find the source. That said, I have never actually seen anyone wearing that colour flats...perhaps in Paris, but I wasn't paying attention.
ReplyDeleteHope you find them!
So glad you got to see some old friends,a lways the best feeling! xxx

Have you had a look in Zomp on Chapel St (up near the Toorak Rd end)? They almost always have what I am looking for.
ReplyDeleteSo get the need to refuel - I'm an introvert as well, and sometimes I just need to put a book in front of my face because socializing just takes so much out of me...unless it's socializing by blog, of course ;)
ReplyDeleteShopbop has a few orange ballet flats. It's hard to tell if any of them are the burnt orange though. Hope this helps and good luck hunting :)

Yum, Thai curry with coconut milk! Love that stuff!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I found these flats: http://www.6pm.com/bc-footwear-crazy-like-a-fox-orange. Of course, I don't know about shipping from that site to you.
I live in Austin, TX (home of UT Austin and all things burnt orange). I am quite sure some of the local boutiques have some variation of burnt orange flats. If you need me to pick some up for you, let me know. I'd be happy to search!
ReplyDeleteHmm, I have no idea where to find burt orange ballet flats. Do they have DSW in Australia?
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your alone time! :)
I need to floss more, maybe then my gums wouldn't hate me so much.
ReplyDeleteLove that you named your car Oliver. My first car was Benjamin.
ReplyDeleteHave you looked at any of the selections at Toms? They are such comfy shoes, and its for a very good cause.
Love this post - simply way to clear bloggers block! Will give it a crack this Friday I think.
ReplyDeleteI can't remember what I named my first car but oh I loved it. Why Oliver?
I have a 4 Runner and LOVE IT! Now I want to name it :)
ReplyDeleteXo Lourdes
I'm looking for very similar shoes for mine...I'll let you know if I come across any -- you do the same!
ReplyDeleteI went to zappos.com and chose flats as the style and then orange as the color. There was a decent range and price and shade of orange. And I so appreciate that you comment to waste time. It makes my day!
ReplyDeleteHave you tried DSW.com yet for the shoes? They usually have everything I want and more. And don't forget zappos.com!
ReplyDeleteI love the name Oliver! Good luck on the burnt orange shoe hunt :)
