First of all, I think it goes without saying that we got married on my parents farm (Kyle photo).
And cheese (my photos below...can you tell a difference in quality perhaps?). Oh, how I ate cheese. With the addition of these six cheeses, I'll have tried 56 cheeses in my quest to sample 1000. A long way to go perhaps, but I shall enjoy every moment!
My favourite was the La Luna goat's milk cheese, seriously delicious.
I've also taken a macaron baking class.
What's on your life list?
I did not even know there were 1000 cheeses! Sounds like a delicious quest though, good luck! xx

ReplyDeleteCheese is the best. Period.
ReplyDeleteCheese might be the greatest food group, excluding chocolate of course. So happy that this is on the life list!
ReplyDeleteI am so inspired! I L O V E cheese!! I think I'm going to have to make this a goal of mine as well. Do you have a list of cheeses you've tried so far somewhere on your blog? What one is your favorite?!
ReplyDeleteI can skip dessert for a cheese platter. :) But then you said-- macaron? Now I'm torn.
ReplyDeleteCheese features prominently in my list of Things To Do, too. I plan to eat as many different types of cheese possible and, oh dream of dreams, to own a giant wheel of cheese one day.
ReplyDeleteLove some good goat's milk cheese! You really should come visit me here...Wisconsin got nothin on the Netherlands when it comes to cheese!! Maybe I need to send you a cheese goodie box from here. Email me (dorothyfarfromkansas@gmail.com) and I'll see what I can put together.

ReplyDeleteI am a HUGE fan of cheese so I love the fact that you are trying to eat 1000!!!
ReplyDeleteI've made macarons...but it took 5 tries to finally get them right. It turns out the Italian method is most effective for us. Who knows.
