NaBloPoMo Day 18: Liner Notes

One of the benefits of my 6:15 am yoga class is my sunrise walks to the studio.

On Thursday, I saw that Ben and Jerry's had posted on their facebook page that they were opening a new shop near to where I live. AND not only was their grand opening on Thursday but, BUT, they were giving away free scoops of ice cream.

And thus, I knew what was in store for our night!

Well, hello Cherry Garcia.

I like the way you mooooove. This post is not sponsored by Ben and Jerry. But it should be.

Remember when I had a rehearsal session with a hair/make up person before my wedding and she was really really really mean to me? Well, one of the things she sells in her shop are reading glasses. Which I don't need. But what I do need is seeing-far-away glasses. I hardly ever find frames that I like (I never find frames that I like), and so when I spotted these I became instantly smitten.

Saturdays are made for baking. Inspector Climate helped me make a big batch of granola bars!

  1. I went into Ben & Jerry's Friday night and got excited looking at all the delicious flavours, then I noticed the price: $6.50 for two scoops. That gets you THREE scoops at the other places I buy icecream/gelati. I walked away dejectedly. I'll probably end up going back and buying some regardless of the cost though.

I'm happy for you that you have your Cherry Garcia so close to home. How kind of them to open the store near where you live!

The vamp on the Canadian version of Being Human..Sam Witwer who plays Aidan. He's a really good actor.

Oh, what a fun week. Ice Cream! and the cooking! of granola goodness.

    Will you guys celebrate Thanksgiving?

  12. Sounds (and looks) like a bit of perfection sprinkled throughout your days!

And such fabulous glasses! I wear reading glasses in the evenings, when my eyes are especially tired. It always freaks my cat completely out.
