NaBloPoMo Day 4: Liner notes

One of my favourite blogs: Girls Gone Child does a weekly post called Liner Notes where she recaps the week via photos. Of course hers are much more spectacular because she has cute children to photograph. And I have...the Melbourne skyline.

I'm not sure what it is behind the Liner Notes idea that I like so much, but I do. Maybe it's the little glimpses into someone else's day that make it (and instagram) so appealing. While most people take beautiful photographs, I of my umbrella. A bit of cheer to add to a gloomy morning.

I see sunrises on my walks to yoga.

And spend weekends with dirt in my hands and wearing old college t-shirts from the days when I was part of the physics club.

Liner notes will take a weekly place in my post round ups during NaBloPoMo.

What do you take pictures of?

  1. I like this idea of showing people a bit about your day/week! I should probably take my camera to work more often, never know what might happen there.

  2. love these photos! i think these pictures are really pretty- better than what I could take~

  3. The umbrella photo makes me miss rain so bad. I can't wait to use one again soon.

  4. great batch of photos. it's always nice to keep memories of your day/week to look back on!

love from the NANA girls xoxo

  5. Dogs. I take tons of pictures of my dogs. It seems they're always doing something adorable that I just can't quite capture. This post reminds me of the "Sundays in my City" thing (I'm so not a blogger and I don't know how it works) at I tried to do it once but either I didn't do it right or I didn't do the whole thing but's a weekly posting of pictures from your life. I'm going to try again, I swear!

  6. HELLO DEAR!!!
    thanks for your lovely comment
    nice blog
just followed you on GFC no 240
    hope you follow back
    keep in touch

  7. Such a great way to show your part of the world.

I've taken a few pictures of the fall leaves. Usually, I take pictures of anything...but me.

  8. I take pictures of things I'm eating or reading or mundane! But I agree with you, I love Instagram because people often share pictures of moments/things that they often don't share on their blogs or elsewhere...

  9. That first photo is gorgeous. I like taking pictures of people... I have to remind myself to also take photos of scenery once in a while.

  10. The skyline and sunset are gorgeous shots!
    xo TJ

  11. I've been doing a Picture a Day challenge this year & I have LOVED it. At the end of each month I do a recap and it's so fun to look back at all the photos. I have so many more memories of delightful things that happened on insignificant days that I would otherwise have no memory of. When I started I didn't think I'd last very long but here I am, just under 2 months left & I'm still going strong.

Love the sunrise photo. And honestly, I quite like the umbrella one too :o)
