Some wise words in my yoga studio. Why yes, I'm taking that photo in the bathroom.
I love the little bottle of milk this cafe brought with my tea last week.
The kitty came back to visit TWICE. While we still don't let her (I've assumed it's a her) into the house, we do go out and give her a nice scratch. I swear she likes it, despite this photo (you try juggling an iphone, yoga bag, and scratching a kitty!).
We have another baby lemon growing on our tree!
The cafe Seven Seeds in Melbourne makes the best hot chocolate. Why yes, that is a giant chocolate stick that is melting into the (soy) milk.
When I had surgery, Inspector Climate would get me out of the house by encouraging me to go on "walkies" with him. "Walkies!" he'd say, like he was trying to get a dog all excited about going outside.
Since being unemployed we've tried to go on walkies just to spend some extra time together that isn't sitting on the couch or working on our relative computers (I've also started reading aloud to Inspector Climate while he does the dishes, which I kind of love because it means we can experience the same book at the same time).
This is us on walkies.
I like these photo update posts!
ReplyDeleteAlso, that chocolate stick is inspirational. My morning coffees may just become a lot less healthy ;-)
Warm sunshine...I'm SO jealous! It's -4C here right now. I go on lots of "walkies" as I have dogs but they're not so enjoyable right now. Maybe if I had a cup of that hot chocolate!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for that beautiful quote. I'm writing it down and am posting it on the bathroom mirror so that's the first thing I see when I wake up. It never fails to brighten one's day to see fruits growing in the garden. :)
ReplyDeleteAwww the kitty! So sweet!
ReplyDeleteoh, there's few things I like more than a friendly cat on a walk. So sweet. Your life is beautiful- these pictures are awesome.
ReplyDeleteOh, how I love that quote. Seriously, I just penciled it down. To always remember!

That is a fantastic sign! Ooooo - I would have to smile if that little bottle of milk came with my tea.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day - enjoy the warm!
I can't wait for the weather to be warmer so I can go on more walkies!!! Aww look at the lil lemon!! Adorable cat too! =)

ReplyDeleteI love that you read to IC. You're awesome!
ReplyDeleteoh, i want a lemon tree! and reading aloud sounds lovely:-) x
ReplyDeleteThat hot chocolate looks incredible! It's not nearly warm enough for walks in Chicago to actually be enjoyable... so for now I will have to settle for getting from point A to point B as fast as possible :P
ReplyDeleteI love the looks of that hot chocolate - chocolate sticks are totally the way forward I think! I have promised my kids in school hot chocolate on Friday when we have pyjama day - I don't think it'll be quite up to this standard though! So great that you make time to go out and walk together, and that quote is defintiely bringing a smile on an otherwise fairly down sort of day :)
ReplyDeleteThat cup of hot chocolate looks delicious! Yummy!
ReplyDeleteI need that milk bottle! So cute!
...and Colon and I NEED to go on walkies. The best time to spend with each other!

I like the idea of reading to each other...My hubby loves audio books, so he might really enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteThat saying is fantastic. I might put that up on my wall. Also that hot chocolate looks delicious. I will have to try it when I head to Melbourne.

ReplyDeleteAw, have you named the cute little kitty yet?
ReplyDeleteThat hot chocolate... Seriously craving some!
ReplyDeleteI WANT THAT HOT CHOCOLATE!!! Looks fabulous! And thanks for the yoga quote, even if it meant bathroom photography. I've been needing a hit of inspiration lately and that was a really nice message to read.
ReplyDeleteChocolate stick and cat. Those 2 things caught my attention. I miss my street cat Bycka when I lived in Israel, I'd love a dog or a cat to keep me company right now
ReplyDeletePlus since being newly unemployed, I really have my blog to thank, I've now got tonnes of things to write about and tonnes of time to do so in
ReplyDeleteKitty!! Love you and IC on your "walkies!" =)
