NaBloPoMo Day 6: Photos!

I haven't done a photo post in a while, and that's partly because I totally forgot to take photos for a while. The majority of these is when Inspector Climate and I went on a walk.

Walkies!

Inspector Climate had never been to the Shrine of Remembrance so we popped by to check it out.

Oh, Melbourne.

We're bad at taking selfies...Where am I looking?

I finished knitting a cowl. I like it, but I think I'd try a different pattern next time.

Someone did not see the signs.

I did some knitting while Inspector Climate read to me. We just finished Cooked by Michael Pollan which was pretty fantastic. He goes through a bunch of different cooking techniques like using Fire, using Water in braises, using Air to leaven bread, and Earth or the art of fermentation. He talks about the history of these techniques and how they've evolved. There is a bit about the state of cooking and food right now (it's not good, people). I'd recommend it though.

Happy Wednesday. Don't forget to take the survey! There are Tim Tams on the line!

  2. Even though it's almost summer here (and there, too?), I would pay for one of those cowls. Lovely!
